Travel Insurance
With all travel purchases, we strongly recommend to take out travel insurance to cover you for a number of uncertainties including:

  • Cancellation of travel (due to accidents, illness, etc.)
  • Illness during travel
  • Lost baggage
  • Legal Liability

Unfortunately, there is not one insurance policy that covers all contingencies.
DIVERSION DIVE TRAVEL offers services to clients all over the world. Insurances have a much narrower reach and can only be issued for people originating from and travelling to certain regions.
Depending on your country of origin and your travel destination, your age, your physical well-being, there are different insurances with different cover, premiums, etc.

Dive Insurance

  • If you already have cover for travel and only need the diving insured, read on.
  • You should make sure that your insurance policy does cover cost for evacuation and treatment of diving accidents. Experience has shown that the insurance provided through a Divers Alert Network (DAN) membership is very unbureaucratic and efficient in handling cases of dive accidents. Also, annual membership provides members with Diver Evacuation cover for a whole year, regardless of where in the world you dive.
